At Jasper Road Public School, we have parallel classes meaning the class that your child enters will have students with all abilities. Our classes are carefully created from our observations and teachers are chosen accordingly. But how can you support your child and prepare them for school? What do they need to know?
This week we are sharing some information and activities. Talk to your child about the excitement of their first day and don’t forget to label that drink bottle and lunch box. You would be surprised how many are lost and unlabelled.
Next week we will be providing a personal email to parents about the Best Start Assessment and a link for you to register.
The Department of Education has also released new guidelines that allow for 2021 Kindergarten students to visit for short orientation visits. We are excited to welcome your child for a 90 minute visit on a Thursday morning later this term. Students have been split into 6 groups according to surname with all COVID guidelines being closely adhered to. We ask that your child only attend their allocated session. We understand parents working schedules, so if your child is unable to attend then please just let the office staff know.
