How to enrol

- Apply online: complete our online enrolment application.

- non-local enrolments - Schools may accept enrolments from outside their designated area if places are available. Such applications are subject to department policies. Contact the school for further information. If the school is able to accommodate non-local enrolments, the school will advise you of any non-local enrolment criteria. If the demand for local enrolment exceeds the number of places available, non-local enrolments will not be available.

Residential Address Check – Enrolment Requirement
Persons seeking to enrol a child in a NSW Government school must provide documents to establish the child’s residential address.
To complete the enrolment process at Jasper Road Public School, you are required to provide documents that total at least 100 points. This process confirms that the student lives within our school’s intake area.
100 Point Residential Address Check
Please bring original documents with you when finalising your child’s enrolment.
Each document is allocated a point value. You must present enough documents to reach at least 100 points.
Category A (40 points each)
Only one of (no additional points for additional documents
- Council rates notice
- Lease agreement through a registered real estate agent for a period of at least 6 months or rental board bond receipt
- Exchanged contract of sale with settlement to occur within the applicable school year
Category B (20 points each)
Any of the following
- Private rental agreement for a period of at least 6 months
- Centrelink payment statement showing home address
- Electoral roll statement
Category C (15 points each)
Any of the following documents

Electricity or gas bill showing the service address*

Water bill showing the service address*

Telephone or internet bill showing the service address*

Driver licence or government issued ID showing home address**

Home building or home contents insurance showing the service address

Motor vehicle registration or compulsory third party insurance policy showing home address

Statutory declaration stating the child’s residential address, how long they have lived there, and any supporting information

Distance education
Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.
